Just Another, Stupid, Youtube Video...
Oct 13th, 2014
To promote the Kickstarter project for Hierarchy, we have created a stupid Youtube-video to entertain you with (and encourage you to more easily part with your money!). It's called 'Can a Computer-Dork Rap?' Enough said:)

Articles on Hierarchy and NDA!
July 30th, 2014
We've developed a lot of interesting concepts over the years dealing with architecture and design. We've finally put these online for general consumption! One of the main ideas we introduce is a new architecture called N-Dimensional Architecture, and we hope you find it as useful as we do!

Finally, Hierarchy is open sourced!
Sept 30th, 2013
This past year has been interesting to say the least. We had originally intended to open source Hiearchy way, way back in January of this year, but were delayed because of a few business issues and relationships that had to be hammered out - understanding the business side of a start-up is definitely not the strong suit of us engineers. The past 9 months have been a huge learning curve. But, we made it through this latest trial by fire and have just put our source code in Github. We're looking forward to collaborating with the rest of the open source community!
Partnerships in the works...
Feb 3rd, 2013
We've been in talks with a couple of companies about integrating our products with some interesting results. We should have something very interesting to show by the end of the year...
New Website!
Oct 16th, 2012
Project Hierarchy was originally a spin off from its parent company, Unconventional Thinking, and the Hierarchy web-pages used to be served up there (www.unconventionalthinking.com). But we realized, Hierarchy needs to be its own thing, so we broke it off and created an all new home for it. The result is the site you're looking at. We hope you like it!
New Developer Guide!
June 16th, 2012
We've written a detailed developer-guide for Hierarchy. We believe a lot of great dev-tools fail because of inadequate documentation, so we decided to spend a full, three months writing an easy-to-read, dev guide for you. We really put a lot of work into this, and we hope you see, it's way beyond the norm for documenation for an open-source tool, both in terms of the amount of content and, more importantly, how easy it is to learn from. Our goal was to make learning Hierarchy require the least amount of work possible. Take a look!

The Hierarchy beta 2 is ready for you to try!
June 6th, 2011
We're on year four of the development of Hierarchy, and the beta 2 version of the Hierarchy Meta-Compiler for Java is ready for developers to try! We'd like to thank all our beta testers for their feedback! (especially to H.S. for his extremely useful comments!) Hierarchy is a Java development tool that developers use to create and manipulate xml-like data-structures directly in Java (it's like JSON for Java).
